About Soniccode E-Solutions

Soniccode E-Solutions is a progressive programming company specializing in database–connected web services. Using open source solutions like PHP and Python for programming, along with MySQL and PostgeSQL as the database engines, we are able to create competitive business–to–business solutions.

We develop solutions in PHP, Python, Javascript, and Actionscript 3 (Flash) for dynamic websites or web services. For business–to–business, or business–to–consumer websites, the dynamic code we produce is cross–browser capatible XHTML, and CSS. When programming AJAX websites, we typically to use jQuery, although we are also well–versed in Mootools, script.aculo.us, and MochiKit.

Along with a solid background in server-side scripting, Soniccode also sets up and maintains UNIX (or any other *NIX platform) web servers. For our clients that require server maintenance our specialty is Red Hat Linux, or CentOS running Apache, OpenSSL, MySQL or PostgreSQL, PHP, and Python, with all required extensions and libraries.

The LAMP acronym stands for Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (Perl/Python). Originally coined by a German writer in 1998, the term was adopted by O’Reilly and MySQL AB to market the use of free, open source software. When using the LAMP Stack you can deploy projects to almost any platform, Linux, PC or Mac. There are LAMP development programs that will allow a programmer to create projects locally on their laptop or desktop computer before publishing to a development or production server.
